App Store Viewer features

Inspect public App Store listings before launch, review, or research.

App Store Viewer gives product, growth, localization, and design teams a clean way to check public listing data without opening App Store Connect or stitching together screenshots manually.

Metadata preview

Check the app name, developer, bundle ID, category, rating, version, release date, pricing, and public availability signals from one App Store lookup.

Screenshot inspection

Review App Store screenshots and copy image URLs for QA, localization checks, competitor research, design review, or launch planning.

Storefront localization

Compare public listing content across App Store countries and languages without manually rebuilding Apple listing URLs.

How it works

A focused App Store metadata viewer for everyday listing checks.

  1. Paste a listing

Use a direct App Store URL or numeric app ID. Localized Apple URLs can provide the initial storefront country automatically.

  2. Fetch public data

The Worker combines Apple lookup metadata with public App Store page assets when screenshot data needs to be completed.

  3. Review the snapshot

The viewer displays metadata, screenshots, descriptions, release notes, source links, and storefront details in one focused page.

FAQ

App Store Viewer questions

What is App Store Viewer?

App Store Viewer is a free web tool for previewing public Apple App Store listing metadata by URL or app ID, including screenshots, icon, rating, version, pricing, developer, description, release notes, and storefront localization data.

Can I use an App Store URL instead of an app ID?

Yes. You can paste a full App Store listing URL or enter the numeric app ID. When the URL contains a storefront country, the viewer can use that country as the initial lookup market.

Does App Store Viewer show private App Store Connect data?

No. The tool only reads public listing data available from Apple's public lookup and App Store pages. It is not connected to App Store Connect and cannot show private analytics, builds, sales, or subscriber data.

How do I check another country or language?

Change the two-letter storefront country code and optional language field before looking up the listing. This helps compare localized metadata and screenshots across public App Store storefronts.

Why are screenshots sometimes missing?

Apple's public lookup response can omit screenshot URLs for some listings or storefronts. App Store Viewer tries to supplement them from public listing page assets, but unavailable upstream data can still leave gaps.
